Maddie helped me edit some of my writing late on a Sunday evening. The morning had been filled with passion. The day found us working together on familiar yard work and visiting a friend. As she read some of the manuscript, “I don’t remember this. Did this really happen, or is it just in the book?” Maddie asked with a laughing and questioning look on her face. “It is just in the book,” I responded, “Unless you want to try it out. I can gladly edit what I have written if our actual results are better than I wrote.” Maddie studied her phone for a moment or so and responded, “I like how you wrote it. Let’s not mess this up.”
